Texas Go2Guy keeps a short list and an even shorter data trail. Here's exactly what we collect and why.

What we collect

Applications to join the directory, and the business details, photos, and hours an owner submits.

Reviews — the name and text a reviewer chooses to submit. Reviews are held for moderation before they publish.

Messages sent to a business, or to Texas Go2Guy through the contact form, and the email address you use to sign in.

If you ask the assistant on a business page a question, we keep what you typed so that business's owner and Texas Go2Guy can see what visitors are asking.

What we don't collect

No ad trackers and no third-party analytics scripts. A page view is counted as a hash of your device and the date, not stored against you by name — it's rebuilt fresh every night, so it can't be used to follow you over time.

No payment details ever touch this site. Membership is a fee Texas Go2Guy collects directly, outside the site.

How we use it, and who sees it

Applications and vetting details go to Texas Go2Guy, to decide who gets listed. Reviews go through our moderation before anyone else sees them.

A message to a business goes to that business's owner; a message through the contact form goes to Texas Go2Guy. Assistant questions on a listing are visible to that business's owner and to Texas Go2Guy — nobody else.

We use a small number of infrastructure providers (hosting, image storage, email delivery) to run the site. They process data on our behalf and for no other purpose. We don't sell data, and we don't run ads.

Your choices

Owners can edit or unpublish their listing any time from the dashboard.

Want something deleted — a review, an application, your account? Email us and it's done.
